Hebrews 12:1-3 pulls the camera back on the whole week: a great cloud of witnesses — Noah, Abraham, Moses, Rahab, Gideon, Joseph — fills the stands as you run. The call isn't to be the fastest but to throw off every weight and fix your eyes on Jesus, who endured the cross for the joy of you. You don't run alone, and you don't run someone else's race. The invitation is to name the distraction and keep running.

John 10:27 reminds us that Jesus knows us completely and calls us to stay close to Him by listening to His voice and following where He leads. Like sheep with their shepherd and branches on a vine, we find life, growth, and joy when we remain connected to Jesus.

John 1:43-46 teaches us through Philip that we do not need all the answers to invite someone to encounter Jesus; sometimes we simply need the courage to say, “Come and see.” When questions or objections arise, we can respond with humility, keep the door open, and trust Jesus to reveal Himself.

Hebrews 11:22 catches Joseph at the end of his life, still trusting God's promise even though he would not live to see it. Between the pit and that faith lay betrayal, slavery, false accusation, and a cell where the cupbearer forgot him — but God did not. Man's memory is short; God's is eternal, and in His timing the underground season becomes the bloom. The invitation is to stay faithful in the waiting and serve those around you.

John 15:11 teaches us that staying connected to Jesus fills us with His deep and lasting joy. As we remain close to Him, we discover that the fullest life is not found in temporary happiness, but in knowing we belong to Jesus and are loved by Him.

John 1:40-42 teaches us through Andrew that bringing someone to Jesus does not require a perfect strategy—just a willingness to share what we have found and invite them to come. We cannot see who someone may become in Jesus’ hands, so instead of deciding who is likely to respond, we can faithfully bring people to Him as they are.

Hebrews 11:32-34 lists Gideon among those whose weakness was turned to strength — though he was cowering in a winepress when God called him 'mighty warrior.' He answered with excuses about his weak clan, but God's only reply was, 'I will be with you.' Then God shrank the army to three hundred so the victory could belong to Him alone. The invitation is to park your excuses, because His presence is the only qualification you need.

John 15:9-10 teaches us that Jesus loves us with the deep, perfect love of the Father and invites us to remain in that love. As we follow His ways, we stay close to Him, trusting that His commands lead us deeper into the safety and goodness of His love.

John 1:35-39 teaches us that pointing someone toward Jesus does not require having all the answers or delivering the perfect speech; sometimes the invitation is simply, “Come and see.” We can faithfully invite others to encounter Jesus for themselves, trusting Him to do what only He can do.

Hebrews 11:31 names Rahab plainly — prostitute and all — and sets her raw, trembling faith in the hall beside patriarchs and kings. She believed the God of Israel was real, hid the spies, and tied the scarlet cord in her window, a red thread that runs all the way from the garden to the cross. God writes no one off. The invitation is to stop waiting until you feel worthy and tie the cord right where you are.
